This paper attempts to use urban cultural landscape as the main clue since the nineties. From the perspective of the urban consumer desire, the author want to study the plight of women in all kinds of urban life and the continuing exploration of self-salvation , which are reflected in the Zhang Xin'Urban Novels. The author gives Zhang Xin'urban novels holistic view and objective interpretation through the following three chapters.Through the description of the landscape outside the city and the view of urban consumption, the first chapter gives the objective interpretation of living external environment and internal urban consumer culture of urban women. Since 1990, the cities of china become closer and closer to international standards, and the consumption along with the development of urban gets prosperous. Increasingly flashy urban landscape and extreme expansion of the external materialistic pursuits become the major dilemmas of the urban women.After reading the text, the second chapter classifies the urban women, through the face of business, love and survival value of the choice. The first category is the women who are stick to the family. In the face of losing love, urban traditional women will make every effort to maintain the integrity of their homes. As wives and mothers, despite the immense disappointment to their husbands, they are trying to maintain the integrity of the home, and they are reluctant to choose divorce. What is more, some women treat love as their only way to survive. And choose extreme behavior to death. The another category is the women who are brave enough to rush Out of the siege, and work out of a sky of their own, through their own hard work. They have their own careers, but as a woman also lost their feelings of comfort. They enjoy the wealth of material life but also undergo the inner feelings of loneliness. Another type of urban women, who live in ambilight of city life, lost their self-consciousness, and then they chose to attach men. Through the analysis of four types of urban women, This chapter expresses the interest and thinking of Zhang Xin in the plight of women living ,as well as the concerns of city people to survive in the modern commercial society.The third chapter mainly discusses that Zhang Xin explore the road of urban women self-salvation. On the road of exploration, Zhang Xin do not know how to choose, holding up or breaking through? Facing the gap between reality and the ideal, Zhang Xin finally selected to stick to herself.
