In 1990,The emotional intelligence appeared in America as a new psychological conception and became a hot international topic.Recently,emotional intelligence has received wider attention,studys on emotional intelligence by psychologists are becoming deeper and abroader,psychologists conducted indepth research and discussion on its conception and function.In order to further reveal the ralationship among emotional intelligence,self-esteem and achievement motivation of the high school students,this research chose EIS and conducted the test on 667 high school students,the EIS are frequently used and have high efficiency and credit.This research used SPSS16.0 for the data statistics and analysis.The results are as follows:1.There are demographic difference in emotional intelligence of the high shool students.The level of emotional intelligence has remarkable difference in different majors and in students who are conmmissaries in class and those who are not. The concrete manifestation is Liberal arts, Emotional intelligence level is superior than Science subjcts.The emotional intelligence of students who are conmmissaries is superior than those who are not.There are no remarkable difference in sexes and grades.2.The high school students, Achievement Motivation is affluened by their Profession:Liberal arts, Achievement Motivation level is superior than Science subjcts.There are no remarkable difference in sexes,grades and whether they are conmmissaries or not.3.There are remarkable difference in Self-esteem of the high scool students, Liberal arts, self-esteem level is superior than Science subjcts.There are no remarkable difference in sexes,grades and whether they are conmmissaries or not.4.The high scool students, Emtional intelligence and its dimension has significant possitive correlation with self-esteem;Emotional intelligence has significant possitive correlation with achievement motivation and its dimension of motivation to succession,has significant negtive correlation with dimention of avoiding failure;Self-esteem has significant possitive correlation with achievement motivation and its dimension of motivation to succession,has significant negtive correlation with dimention of avoiding failure;High scool students, emotional intelligence has the forward forecast function to the Self-esteem and Acheievement motivation;The high school students, emotional intelligence,self-esteem and achievement motivation has a significant correlationship.
