GongSunLong is an controversial figure on ancient Chinese logic history, but his unique way of thinking made a contribution to Chinese philosophy and Chinese logic, which can not be overlooked. He developed the logic thingking of DengXi and HuiShi, and inspired Mohism and xunzi's logic, is a very important link on ancient Chinese logic thinking history. More importantly, in his opinion, "the relationship between names and facts" is no longer the dependency of ethic politics, but a real problem, which made the logic be an independent intellectual areas.However, GongsunLong put forward a series of ridiculous argument that appeared to be sophistry, such as "white horse'fei'horse", "Er Wu Yi", "Jian Bai Shi Er", since they are incompatibility with the dominant ideology and the orthodox ideas, his assertion was under attack all the time.GongsunLong advocated "white horse'fei'horse", and demonstrated his assertion from different aspects, but this can only affirm the existence rights of "white horse'fei'horse", the negative adverb "fei" can not give substantial help in defining the relationship between "white horse" and "horse", maybe this is the significant cause for his assertion not get the same feeling in others.This paper more concretely introduced several representative interpretations of "white horse'fei'horse", such as:interpretations of modern scholars WangGuan using proposition logic theory, Jin Shoushen using truth syllogistic theory; understanding of this proposition from Japanese scholars Momugangbo and Jiadishenxing, defense from contemporary scholars ZhouYunZhi, etc. This paper sought semantics root of keywords "fei", based on this, stated a different viewpoint of the explanation of "white horse'fei'horse" from ZhouYunzhi --which was paid much attentions on in recent years. Based on the semantics root of "ke", we came to the core part of this paper:the discussion of" acceptability ", "authenticity" and "possible world", and emphatically introduced several reasonable explanations of "Bai ma lun":the' explanation of the use of words, understanding based on the difference between "use" and "mention", understanding based on the analysis of semanteme of the words, understanding based on the difference between qualitaet of a system and Property of the elements. Give a brief comment on the logic thinking of GongsunLong and try to analyze the social and historical reasons for its thoughts can not get the same feeling of others.
