Textual Research On The Words And Expressions Of "Ejina Hanjian" (Bamboo&Wooden Slips Excavated At Ejinaqi)

Five hundred Ejina hanjian, a group of wooden and bamboo slips, were founded in theJuyan site of Han Dynasty by a untied archaeological team during Sep,1999 and Oct,2002. The team was made up of Inner Mongolia Archaeological Research Institute, Alashan Museum and Ejinaqi archaeological heritage in Inner Mongolia. These wooden slips are rich in contents and covers every respect such as economics, politics, military affairs and social life, which have significant historical and research value.Ejina hanjian, published in Mar,2005 by Guangxi Normal University, publish all kinds of plate,annotation cultural relic and excavation report. It didn't raise others' interests in the academic cycle and bring out research results until its publication. Comparatively speaking, it is rare to see fundamental research achievements based on research objects of text. It is also weak to do research about the words. Here we choose Ejina hanjian as research object in this thesis from the lexical light and explain the words that appear in Ejina hanjian.This thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter is introduction, making some simple explain on Ejina hanjian's excavation,interpretation research status and its significance.The second chapter is the body of this thesis, including guide notes and main body of the dictionary. The part of guide notes make some related explanation about the style of interpretation. The interpretation is the main part of the whole thesis. On the basis of others'research achievements and annotations that have been published, we carefully check and proofreak the annotations against the original pictures of the bamboo slips, and make a complete meticulous combing and proofreading on the annotation.we strive to be loyal to the raw materials. Then we use "guanshen", the professional software for to produce Ejina hanjian data base and deal with the origin language materials to inquire into the context and meaning of every character.The third chapter includes the centralized annotations on slips involving hospital.The appendix contains the table of homophones and the index of word. The thesis has three characteristics:Firstly,the study materials are valuable.The thesis is based on the rechecking of the text and the reference of the recent years research,it guarantees the thesis owns the first hand research material.Secondly,the study is comprehensive. With the basis of check and research on the text of Ejina hanjian,we investigate almost all the words and expressions in the text for the first time.At the same time,some difficult phrases are studied and the source of their meaning is also traced.Thirdly,the proper methods are adopted.During the study,we paid much attention to the material itself as well as the comparison between the examples in Ejina hanjian and inthe contemporary ancient books.Furthermore, the database techniques are applied in the thesis which provides much convenience to research and guarantees the validity of the statistics and searching.
