The job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers questionnaire was developed in this study; and the study measured the job self-efficacy, the achievement motivation, and the social support which influence the job performance and the job satisfaction. There is a need for an integration of inner person and outer world so that the study can gain a better understanding of the direct and indirect determinants of the job performance and the job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to help the assessment of human resource. Based on the self-efficacy theory, the literature, and the survey of the questionnaire and the interview, the study explore the structure of job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers. To go further, based on the survey of assembly-line workers'questionnaire, the study utilize exploratory factor analysis to seek after the structure of job self-efficacy, and thereby, designing the job self-efficacy questionnaire on assembly-line workers. In addition, a great number of workers were tested by this questionnaire. After exploratory factor analysis, the study boiled down the factors into 5 dimensions: communication and cooperation, job knowledge and skills, accident management, trouble event management and emotional management. Then, confirmed and modified with the assistance of confirmatory factor analysis to solidify the construct validity of questionnaire, the study ended up with the confirmatory model consisting of 16 items in the questionnaire. There are superior reliability and validity in the questionnaire, so it can be used as psychometric instrument rating the job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers. The achievement motivation scale, the social support rating scale, the job performance scale, the general job satisfaction scale, and the job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers designed by myself were used to explore the relations of the five variables.The result indicates:1,There are superior reliability and validity in the self-designed job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers questionnaire.2,Confirmatory factor analysis shows five factors covered in the job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers structure: Communication and cooperation, job knowledge and skills, accident management, trouble event management and emotional management. 3,There is a significant gender difference in the job self-efficacy and all the dimensions except the communication and cooperation, and the trouble event management. And the male's average scores are higher than female's.4,There is a significant educational level difference in the job self-efficacy and all the five dimensions. And the average scores of the workers of high educational level are higher than the workers'of low educational level.5,There is a significant length of the job experience difference in the job self-efficacy and the dimensions of the communication and cooperation, and the emotional management. And they develop with the length of the job experience increasing. In addition, there is a significant difference between the group of length of the job experience for little and the other groups, but the other groups have no sharp difference.6,The significant positive correlations exist in the five dimensions of the job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers, the achievement motivation, the social support, the job performance, and the job satisfaction.7,The significant positive correlations exist in the job self-efficacy of assembly-line workers, the achievement motivation, the social support, the job performance, and the job satisfaction, except the correlation between the achievement motivation and the job satisfaction.8,The social support influencing the job performance or the job satisfaction is moderated by the job self-efficacy and the achievement motivation.
