It is always a main topic of human resource management to investigate on job satisfaction. With the80s employees stepping into the workforce, they gradually become the new main force of enterprises, and it is much more important to understand the80s employees’job satisfaction. This dissertation fills out surveys on the80s employees and conducts the study from three points:that of the level of achievement motivation, vocational delay of gratification and job satisfaction.This study have investigated320the80s employees by questionnaire. It aimed to understand the80s employees’present situation of achievement motivation, vocational delay of gratification and job satisfaction, and the differences in demographic variables. Then to explored the relationship of achievement motivation, vocational delay of gratification and job satisfaction. Otherwise it tried to reveal the role of vocational delay of gratification on the influence of achievement motivation to job satisfaction. Through the investigation and analysis we got the following conclusion:(1) The level of the80s employees on achievement motivation is high, the integral level of vocational delay of gratification is also high, and the level of job satisfaction is in the upper middle above average.(2) The demographic variables has influenced the80s employees on achievement motivation, vocational delay of gratification and job satisfaction, to such different extent.(3) Both of the80s employees’achievement motivation, vocational delay of gratification and job satisfaction are positively correlated.(4) It is the80s employees’achievement motivation and vocational delay of gratification that can significantly forecast job satisfaction, among which achievement motivation can positively forecast job satisfaction, achievement motivation can positively forecast vocational delay of gratification, and vocational delay of gratification can positively forecast job satisfaction.(5) Vocational delay of gratification partially performs the medicating functions between achievement motivation and job satisfaction.
