Future Time Perspective is individual personality on grasping future,including cognition,emotion,and behavioral trend on future social and individual development,mainly on future individual development possibility. It is a kind of possible self. Achievement Goal orientation are motivational variables who stem from self-perception, to a certain extent, it can response college students'living and learning the attitude.This paper makes a survery on the Future Time Perspective, Personality and Achievement Goals of collage students,and discusses the relationships among them.The main purpose of the research is to enrich the theoretical and empirical research of Future Time Perspective, and provide evidence for latter reaserch.1000 students were chosen from four universities in Hebei province,865 effective, after stratified cluster sampling.Three scales which included NEO-FFI,Future Time Perspective Questionaire and Achievement Goals Questionaire, make an investigation among Future Time Perspective, Personality and Achievement Goals.This study makes the following conclusions:1. Through comparing gender difference, it is showed that the scores of male are higher than those of female in the subscale of Future Purpose Consciousness, there are nonsignificant differences in the other four subscales. Comparing grade difference, there are significant differences among higher grades and lower grades,it is showed that the scores(in the subscales of Behavioral Commitment, Future Efficacy, Future Image)of higher grades are much lower than those of lower grades. Comparing whether singleton or not,living and whether class leader or not diffrence, it is showed that there are nonsignificant differences.2.There is significant gender difference in Master-avoidance subscale,and there are nonsignificant gender differences in the other subscales. There is significant difference in Performance-approach subscale between whether class leader or not diffrence. Comparing grade difference, there are significant differences among the four classes. Comparing whether singleton or not and living, it is showed that there are nonsignificant differences. 3.Significantly correlation were found among Future Time Perspective, Personality and Achievement Goals.4.College students'personality have good predictive effects on future time perspective and achievement goals, future time perspective have good predictive effects on achievement goals,and future time perspective plays a mediation effect between personality and achievement goals.
