At the same time, he set up some education, especially found the Sichuan Sino-Westen School which was the predecessor of Sichuan University. During the New-Policy period, he concerned and involved the education system reform, that made a significant and postive impact in the process of modern education reform. When he was the Ministry of chancery, he strongly advocated the reform of national currency, particularly he had a important influence on the issues that agree upon silver coin or copper coin and the founder of banks. In the activeties of foreign negotiations, he always embody ideas and attitude that maintained the rights.
