Research Of The Marginalization Phenomenon Of Calligraphy Art In The Period Of Republic Of China

The period of the Republic of China was a turning point in Chinese history. ForChinese calligraphy art, it is also an important stage. Under the instability of political,economic, cultural, ideological and social environment, although the calligraphy works andthe idea not being fundamental impacted, but in authoring environment, creative style,calligrapher groups, social status of calligraphy art toke a great change. Compared with theprevious period, it has shown the development trend of marginalization. On the base ofcombing of the development and works of calligraphy art, this dissertation analyses themarginalization of the calligraphy art in the period of the Republic of China in this period,in terms of authors, environment, tool,theory, sediment and other aspects, analysis the roleand negative effects of the marginalization phenomenon of calligraphy art in this period,demonstrates that this period was an important position in the history of Chinese calligraphyart and summarizes the reference for contemporary Chinese calligraphy.
