A Study On The Advantages And Disadvantages Of The Ethnic Policies In Xinjiang In The Period Of The Republic Of China

This paper intends to do research from perspectives of macroscopical and microcosmic, historical and realistic, and with the combination of theory and practice, by making full use of the historical literature, and applying ethnology theories and historical hermeneutic and analysis method, policy analysis method of politica, and comparison with synthesize study methods etc.; According to the changes of regime in Xinjiang, this research impersonally and systematically discusses various ethnic policies of important governing persons and political powers in Xinjiang in the period of the Republic of China ,with the evolution of historical stages as the vertical line, and following the practical and realistic principle; This artical observes, analyses and compares these policies, and reviews their advantages ,disadvantages and historical function; On the basis of select past studies, it expatiates standpoints on ethnic policies in Xinjiang in the period of the Republic of China from author's point of view, and summarizes historical experiences and lessons which are great value nowadays.
