To enhance peoples of the world understand Chinese language and culture, develop the friendly relations between China and other countries, provide convenient, quality learning conditions to Chinese learners around the world, China's Government draw on the experience of language promotion of the British, French, German, Spanish and other countries, establish of Confucius Institute headquarters in Beijing. These Confucius Institute authorized by the headquarters set up at home and abroad to carry out the activities of Chinese language teaching as the main content. Beginning from 2004, China's Government supported and established a non-profit public body-"Confucius Institute". The purpose of it is to teach and disseminate Chinese language and Chinese culture in overseas. To October 2009,87 countries around the world had set up 282 Confucius Institutes and 241 Confucius classrooms. "Confucius Institute" as the Chinese government's language promotion strategy, has been fully affirmed by the mainstream of public opinion at home and abroad.As the pace of development too fast and the scale too large, the development of the Confucius Institute has some issues of concern. First of all manifested is the lack of foreign Chinese language teachers. Because the selection of teachers in the Confucius Institute is more stringent and strict accordance with the five modules Ten standards in international standards for Chinese language teachers, thus the foreign language teachers that can be selected are very limited, and the teachers that can be selected should also be proficient and very smooth in the language of the Confucius Institute and can communicate with the people of the host country. These teachers should also understand the host country's cultural background and political in case there are problems in teaching. Thus the truly qualified Chinese language teachers are very few. Followed problem are the lack of uniform teaching materials and control these materials'difficulty inappropriately. It is all known that Chinese is difficult to learn. The problem is how to reduce the threshold of learning Chinese so that Chinese has became easy to learn and understand, create a suitable learning environment for the Chinese learners. Third, the teaching media and methods are less informative. At present there are mainly paper-based materials. Therefore, teaching material must change from the paper to the diverse multi-media networks and others. With the rapid development of computer, information technologies and new technologies, the modern distance education has stranded out more features and advantages such as interactivity, autonomy, globality and so on. In this paper, the network of Confucius Institutes curriculum design research, trying to develop a network of Confucius Institutes curriculum design flow chart for the future design of the Confucius Institute Online Course reference template. In this paper, I research the network curriculum design of Confucius Institutes, try to develop a network curriculum design flow chart of Confucius Institutes which can provided Online Course reference template in the future design of the Confucius Institute.This paper is divided into three parts and always through the instructional design ideas. The first part is the introduction of this study, mainly including literature review, research methods, research deficiencies and innovation. The second part is the subject of the research, mainly exposits from the five major aspects of the Confucius Institute Online Course. They respectively are the establishment background and development profiles of Confucius Institute, in this part through the introduction of the Confucius Institute as well as problems in the development, introduce The Distance Education Network Courses; the theoretical basis of Confucius Institute Online Course; analysis the learners of Confucius Institute Online Course; content analysis of Confucius Institute Online Course; evaluation of Confucius Institute Online Course; platform of Confucius Institute Online Course; and finally developed the curriculum design process network of Confucius Institutes. The second part closely spread such a purpose:the Confucius Institute spread Chinese language and culture, develop friendly relations between China and foreign countries and promote world multi-cultural development and build a harmonious world. Give full consideration to the characteristics of language and culture, combined with the characteristics and advantages of the network programs, this paper aims at the goal of the Confucius Institute and develops a unique Web-based course. The third part is a summary of this study, point out deficiencies in the study and the direction of continuing to pay attentions and efforts.
