Social progress requires that our direction design should also consider about the needs of disabled people, which coincides with the universal design requirements. In a long timeThe effective direction system in builting environment can help them integrate into the society with more independence and freedom, which enhances the environment's accessibility and utilization. In today's specification and design of the direction, universal considerations also can not meet the needs of the users. The study of this thesis begins from cognitive activity features of visually impaired people, studying the special needs about environment identity in order to create the identify environment which can benefit more people and prevoid more useful exploration to universal design.
