Research On Sensory Compensation Tactile Graphic Design For Visually Impaired People

By investigating and analyzing the physiological,psychological and cognitive characteristics of the visually impaired group,this paper explores the design method of tactile graphics for the visually impaired group through the research on the tactile cognition of the visually impaired group and the analysis of the tactile experimental test data of the visually impaired users.This paper analyzes the sensory compensation design at the level of instinct,and after the information conversion of the sensory compensation design,summarizes the processing rules of the transformation of ordinary visual graphics into tactile graphics,and applies the summarized design process and method to the design practice.Special in this article is to apply the relevant theories of cognitive psychology to the visually impaired people touch graphic design to explore,through in-depth for cognitive psychology research deeply on the related information processing method,and the normal of graphic information after comparison of cognitive approach,build a visually impaired users in graphic cognitive characteristics in the process of information acquisition,sums up the experience of corresponding graphical design method,let touch graphic design is more suitable for visually impaired,provide more convenient service for visually impaired in learning and better experience,to help them better learning and life into the social group.
