Study Of Adverbs Of Degree In Jin Ping Mei

"Jin Ping Mei"is the first novel about daily reality of life in the length of novels, appeared in the late Ming Dynasty, and written in the vernacular at the time."Jin Ping Mei"retained the spoken Chinese of lower masses in urban and people in late Ming Dynasty, it demonstrated the face during the Chinese language of nature truly and fully .It provides great materials in the process of modern Chinese language.Adverb plays an important role in Chinese grammer. Adverbs of degree is an adverb which is very important category and held an important position both in ancient and modern Chinese. On Chinese history, adverbs of degree is an important part of the development in Modern Chinese. So far, the academic community focus a certain study on adverbs of degree in"Jin Ping Mei ",but did not find comprehensive care of their writings. We choose adverbs of degree in"Jin Ping Mei"and do a more systematic description. I hope provide certain information for the study of modern Chinese grammar .This paper is divided into six parts:Introduction section describes the author of"Jin Ping Mei", publishing time and the version, determines the criteria for judging adverbs of degree, does a detailed exposition about its re-classification , describes adverbs of degree in"Jin Ping Mei", leads to an entry point for this article . In summary, we take the 51 adverbs of degree appeared in"Jin Ping Mei"research subjects, and divided into two categories: absolute adverbs of degree and relative adverbs of degree.Chapters I and II analysis and describe the two major categories of adverbs of degree of syntactic and semantic aspects, including the origin and development of semantic, syntactic function, combined capacity, for sentences , statistical tie for the use of frequency and list chart, and compared with the modern Chinese.Chapter III, according to Zhang Guibin's view ,we classify two kinds of adverbs of degree into two categories: the same degree of an adverb and adverb different types of degree, describe the situation of its Lianyong and Bingyong ,analyze their special use,compared with modern Chinese and summarize rule.Chapter IV,we chose six frequently used adverbs of degree from"Jin Ping Mei", by combing its development in the Ming and Qing novels, sum up the law of change and development .The last section concluding remarks, we sum up the basic characteristics of adverbs of degree in"Jin Ping Mei", including syllable features, resulting in age, syntactic functions, features and other aspects of the contact.
