In modern Chinese, degree adverb is frequently used and has variety of grammatical functions. For example, Hen is a rather flexible adverb when it combines with other words, it can not only modify adjectives, auxiliary verbs or verb phrases, but also follow De. In recent years, Hen can modify a few nouns. In the search of the HSK dynamic corpus, we find there are a lot of errors of the using of degree adverbs. The native Chinese speakers use degree adverbs are too accustomed to call it in question, but foreign students take it as a big problem.This thesis classifies the frequently-used absolute degree adverbs appearing in the HSK dynamic corpus, and applies the theory of Interlanguage and Error Analysis to describe and explain the reason of error.The thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction which talks about the current research on absolute degree adverbs, and the situation on teaching Chinese as the second language field. There are many achievements on the absolute degree adverb in itself, and in the second language field, the research is focus on the teaching methods and error analysis.The second chapter is to describe the using situation of absolute degree adverbs and to classify the errors of the frequently-used absolute degree adverbs. By the way of statistical analysis, we firstly determine the frequently-used absolute degree adverbs are:Hen, Tai, Duo (me), Zhen。 Based on the HSK dynamic corpus, the error phenomenon can be divided into three parts:omitting, adding wrongly and misusing.The third part shows the reason of error. The reasons of the error we analysis are about the negative transfer caused by native language, the influence of target language, the effluence of the society environment.The fourth chapter shows the teaching strategies about the absolute degree adverbs. Based on the reasons of the errors, this thesis comes up with the following teaching suggestions:contrastive teaching, graded teaching, situational teaching...
