On Heidegger's Theory Of Truth

At first glance,the study of Heidegger's Philosophy has two cores: the quest for being and the pursuit of truth. The two issues are actually one issue. The issue of being, more precisely, is the issue of the significance of being that is the truth of being. To study truth is to study being, and the essence of truth is consistent with the essence of being. From the beginning of the Ancient Greek learner Parmenides, the question of being is associated with the question of truth. At the same time, Aristotle also provides for philosophy as the science of truth and being. The discussions of being and the truth are still closely intertwined until Hegel. However, in the process of the development of Western philosophy, the concept of truth gradually becomes merely a concept related to knowing and knowledge. And truth is seen consistent with objects and knowing. Differently, Heidegger begins to investigate the issue of truth from the point view of ontology, not from point view of epistemology. Heidegger thinks that people's understanding of truth has masked the features of the phenomenon of truth in the level of the presence of being from the beginning, so we have to return to the beginning of the truth to study from the basics of the existence of truth, the primordial phenomenon of the truth may only be introduced. In Heidegger's view, the truth originates from the ancient Greek aletheia, whose original meaning is to mask, to show and to reveal, means opening up their own activities. As the state of masking, truth means the explanation of being for the early Greeks, not referring to the understanding, representation, interpretation of the subject and so on. Heidegger studied the truth basing on the latitude of being at the beginning, and jumped out of the horizon where traditional points view of truth have trapped. Although Heidegger's study of the issue of being experienced from the perspective of "Here" to cutting into the truth and illustrating the changes of truth by uncovering the truth itself , which Accordingly, their understanding of the essence of truth has also experienced a gradual in-depth, clear process.This paper will illustrate from the following parts: First, to analyze the starting point of Heidegger's view of the truth. Heidegger proposed the truth of being that is different from the truth of the traditional epistemology from his philosophy subject---the quest of being with the help of Husserl's phenomenology.Second, to introduce Heidegger's different studying approaches of the issue of the truth in the early and late periods and propose the meaning of the two truths. In the early periods, Heidegger illustrates his point view of uncovering the Truth from the angle of "Being", which still remains in the presence of those phases of the truth; in the middle and late periods Heidegger realizes the limitations of the approach of being-centered to study truth and turns to uncover the truth itself from the angles of art and languages and so on, namely, the existence of truth.Third, to analyze Heidegger's statement of the nature of truth, the ways of truth and the ways accessible. He proposed that the nature of truth is freedom in his middle term works on the essence of truth. We should see that this is related to the change of the methods of the truth. In his later works The Origin of Works of Art and Forest Road, he reveals that the way the truth shows is works of art, speaking is the way to truth.Finally, to discuss Heidegger's point view of being and truth have achieved the aim of eliminating subject and object model, ontology turn, ready-made truth to the final truth, finding the accessible ways to truth, and his inspiration and influence to the philosophy of later periods, especially the philosophy of Postmodernism.
