With the continuous deepening of China's opening up, economic globalization, the successful hosting of the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo ,which have greatly contributed to English spread in China. Thus, English is no longer a wide range of language tools, the huge demand for English language support for up a huge demand for the supply of the market, around the English language learning and use, have been formed a variety of economic behavior. For this reason, this paper is as Taiyuan English training institutions as the research object, through the Statistical Yearbook and related economic development reports, field surveys, visits, questionnaire surveys (51 for the industry training institutions and 200 for the training target,in which 48 valid questionnaires, 178 valid questionnaires trainees copies) . To get a result that Taiyuan English language training institutions are lack of strategic management. Through foreign language training school in Taiyuan of market supply and demand analysis, combining the English language training institutions in Taiyuan .Make three kinds of typical groups division of the strategy proposed by industry, meanwhile, match the corresponding strategies for it . To use PEST analysis tools, Porter's five forces model of competition, the internal key factor analysis and SWOT analysis tools, in order to explore and establish English language training institutions in Taiyuan. Moreover, guide the development of competition and strategic management model of Taiyuan.
