The stone relieves on door leaves, which are often found out of tombs in Han Dynasty, not only exist as an important component, but also elaborate on its special picture significance and great value. As a sort of grave art, the images on the door leaves are serious and kind of depressing, but it can't varnish over the nature of the art, which is full of rhythms of life, and can't veil the aesthetics spirit either. The unknown artists'intellectual creativity in Han Dynasty, makes it possible to find out the art spirit and aesthetics atmosphere in Han Dynasty in the limited space.This essay mainly studies the images on the stone relieves on door leaves in Han Dynasty in Nanyang City, Henan Province. According to archaeology materials, the study tries to discover the way of the constitution of the images on the door leaves and summarize the regular patterns of the characteristics of the images, by adjusting and analyzing the images on the door leaves from different period in Han Dynasty in Nayang City, with the strategy of picture analysis and comparison. And the essay focuses on the core images---the red bird, which represents the south and summer; the white tiger, which represents the west and autumn in ancient Chinese traditional culture, and the imaginative monster's holding a ring in its mouth. The writer intends to have further analysis on the connotation of the images and the way of the decoration, to unearth the special geographical traits of the stone relieves on door leaves in Nanyang through comparing the stone relieves at different places at the same period. In addition, the essay provides a chance to understand people's notion on beauty in Han Dynasty by appreciating the images on the door leaves from different places.
