The Research On "livable Chongqing" Construction From Cultural Perspective

"Livable city"is the supreme goal of most cities'decision in the modern society. The generalized"livable city"means not only a wealth of material base, but also a good social cultural environment and so on. At present, many scholars had a more extensive discussion on the concept content ,the evaluation standards and the building practice of"livable city".The "livable city" theory has become a research focus to domestic and international academic . Right now, the Municipal Government and the Municipal Committee of Chongqing proposed"fiveChongqing"as the urban construction and development planning,it includes the "forest Chongqing", the "smooth Chongqing", the"Peace Chongqing", the "health Chongqing" and so on . In our view, from the generalized point of"livable cities", "livable Chongqing" should be the core point of "five Chongqing". So far, all sectors of Chongqing communities discussed the issue of "Livable Chongqing" building mainly from the physical environment, However, it's lack of the focus on the construction from cultural perspectives. For a modern city, besides the rich physical environment, it has become a more advanced needs to build its livability from the social cultural point. To this end, this article made a tentative explored from the socio-cultural point of view on how to build "livable Chongqing" There are more rich theoretical thinking and practical experience in the building of livable city on the question of Western countries after nearly a hundred years history.Based on the theory and practice , domestic theoretical sector has made some rich revelation in urban development . However ,they are both helepful for the"livable Chongqing"building. Firstly, this article combed the theoretical study and practice of building process, and analyzed the gains and losses. This is the theoretical starting point of this paper.In the third part of this article, it analyzed the building background and the current status of the "livable Chongqing" . In the fourth part , this paper analyzed the function of social culture, such as transmission function, cognitive function, indoctrination training functions, integration function and aesthetic entertainment function. Explained the important significance of creating "livable Chongqing" from cultural perspective, it includes inheriting and putting forward Chongqing local culture, enhancing the external image of Chongqing and soft power , reflecting the urban development of the "people-oriented" value orientation, promoting the comprehensive development of Chongqing, etc.In the fifth part, at first ,it combed the history of Chongqing culture briefly , then collected and analyzed the the main form of expression of Chongqing's unique local culture, at last it overviewed the main features of it. In the last two parts, this paper analyzed the status and the shortages of heritaging and promoting Chongqing's unique local culture, and try to explore he basic principles and concrete measures to create "livable Chongqing" from cultural perspective, with a view to provide some advise for the relevant government departments'current decision。...
