Wolfgang Rihm, (b. March 13, 1952). Born in southwest Germany, Württemberg, Karlsruhe. As one of the four composers who are the most representative of today's world, Rihm's works began to attract attentions of music lovers and music theory researchers. The research paper set to <>, through his early piano creative ideas and explore areas of techniques so people can make deeper understanding form level of the history to the gradual transformation to the specific technical aspects, to achieve three-dimensional understanding.This paper is divided into five parts, including the introduction, three main chapters and the conclusion. The introduction briefly introduces the origin of the thesis, and what I will be the subject of the selected angle. The main part of the thesis including three mainly sections and the final conclusion, as the famous composer in late 20th century, I explained the creative features from all angles. The first chapter introduces the life and creative style characteristics. Section 1 mainly introduce birth, learning experience, award-winning experience, work experience and so we can know the basic situations of Rihm; section 2 mainly discuss two briefly aspects of Rihm's creative style and aesthetics. The second chapter is to analyses the detail structure of the piano works from NO.1 to NO.7 (piano workNO.1, NO.2, NO.3, NO.6, NO.7) .Chapter 5 is the relationship between pitch materials of the piano works, a detailed analysis of organizations, and it summarizes the Rihm's creation in the early use of the harmonic characteristics. The final conclusion is to summary Rihm's creative, aesthetic and harmonic features.
