| This paper studied the figures of speech in the intermediate and advanced level textbooks of Developing Chinese. It counted the usages of different figures of speech in these four books and then described the top three high frequency figures. Based on the above research, the author tried to explore the deeper culture elements in it and provided certain suggestions for evaluating the textbooks on teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The research methods are literature reviews, statistics and induction. |
