The globalization of economy and the fast developing of Internet configured the resource of the world. It also make the enterprise must face the competition comes from all over the world. To strengthen the capability of competition and keep the market share, enterprise use the alliance strategy. And with the fast developing of economy of developing countries, there are more and more companies find their cooperators in this area. As the leader of IT industry, IBM use ~ alliance strategy as the powerful weapon to fulfill her global expansion. This paper analysis the alliance strategy of IBM in Chinese market. There are two parts in this paper. First part is the case and it mainly introduce the background of IBM and her business in China. Second part is the case study and it mainly analysis the reason of IBM 憇 alliance strategy and her executive experience. Through the case, the writer want to emphasis the importance of alliance strategy for many multinational in this economy environment in this time. also discuss some ways to choose the alliance partner.
