Research On Optimum Toll Rate Of Freeway On Base Of Fixed Traffic Volume

Providing relationship between toll rate of tolling road and its influencing factors, esp.. The interior ones, as clue, this paper make a systematic exposition of shaping up theory of toll rate and its determination model using relevant theories such as economics theory, traffic behavior theory and optimizing theory. It discusses the existence of toll rate in an all around way for the first time. It also set up the volume of traffic 梩oll rate梚ncome from tolling model basing on utility function.This paper consists of two parts:The first section is composed of Qmpter II, Chapterlllland chapter IV. In this part the author discourses the existence of toll rate and its economical theoretical base, present conceptions of transportation market and its demand & supply functions, then proves its existence using economical , traffic and mathematics theories respectively.The second section includes ChapterV and ChapterVl. Basing on route choice principle of road user and logit model, the paper quotes conception of utility function and establish determination model of toll rate, put forward a method to demarcate the parameters of the model. It also analyses the model抯 servicrability, give an example in the end.
