AbstractChina is during the shifting stage from planning economy to marketing economy. Due to the economic system reform, great changes have taken place to labor relations .Our country has been established labor contract legal relations oriented to market economy as present labor relations, enforce a new employment policy that makes market allocate labor resources. Employers and employees are required to appear in market as market bodies, must assign legal format such as labor contract to establish labor relations. But, there has been amounts of non-contract labor relations because of influence from traditional labor relations under planning economy. We need more time to change labor concept. We need the relevant environment. At present, labor contract relations and non-contract relations(virtual labor relations), labor contract relations and hid labor relations(hid employment) co-exist in China. The dilemma impedes the process of state-own-enterprise reform and the development of market economy. Thus, to streamline labor relation becomes the necessary option to develop socialism market economy. This essay aims to analyze current labor relations, characteristic, and cause, explore the new method to establish stable and harmonious labor relations.
