Study On The Comparative Advantage And Tariff Policy Of China Agricultural Products In External Trade

Agricultural products in external trade are the focus problem of free trade. It is very important to the comparative advantage and tariff policy of Agricultural products in external trade, because it may improve the efficiency of resource distribution, increase our Agricultural products?international competitive capability, and promote our economic development. This paper adopts analytical way combining theoretic analysis with positive study, combining quantitative identification with qualitative analysis, or combining macroeconomic analysis with microeconomic study to deep and systemic investigate several problems of study on our Agricultural products'comparative advantage and tariff policy. On the base of deeply investigating the theory of comparative advantage and econometric model, deducing 'reveal'comparative advantage model and resulting in some. supplementary model, this paper makes up some defects of this model in quantitative analysis. On one hand, this paper analyzes and works out a great many statistic data, and general and systemic positive analyzes our Agricultural products?s comparative advantage in external trade. This paper also discusses the idea based on applying comparative advantage to investigate tariff structure, and quantitative identifies the transverse structure of our Agricultural products?tariff. On the other hand, this paper analyzes the theory of iariff protection especially the theory of effective protection and its?econometric model, and analyzes the theory and model of tariff level, input-output model and effective protection, and then testing their index. At last, according to effective protection theory, this paper quantitative identifies the lengthways structure of our Agricultural products?tariff by using econometric ways.
