China is a large agricultural country, also is a country scarce of natural resource. Today, the development of agriculture is restricted by the scarce resource, which represents agricultural products costs increasing while the price falling, the farmers' income don't increase continually etc. However, the government didn't take any effective measure to protect agricultural industry in the past years. And China enters into World Trade Organization (WTO) triumphantly, which also prevent China from protecting agricultural industry in the future. While China should take this chance to build up an effective agricultural production-trade system based on its own comparative advantage. This paper focuses on following three aspects: China main agricultural products' comparative advantage; the composing of agricultural products foreign trade; the integration between agricultural products' comparative advantage and the composing of agricultural products foreign trade. The paper contains three parts, formally is divide into nine chapters:The first part is chapter 1 introduction. It mainly introduces the aim and signification of the research, the frame of this paper, the methods adopted in this paper and some innovation compared with previous relative research. The second part is from chapter 2 to chapter 5. In this part, the author firstly sums up the theory about comparative advantage in different historical phases and compares their main characters, which establishes the paper's theoretic foundation. Secondly, the author lists the main methods that used to demonstrate agricultural products comparative advantage before, pointing out their applicability and localization separately, then chooses the "Domestic Resource Cost" to analyze China's main agricultural products comparative advantage, which includes corn, oil seeds, cash crops, fruits, livestock products. Before demonstrating analysis, the author try to improve DRC method by testing it's a basic assume that international market price is exogenous to a country's imports and exports. The result indicates that all agricultural products' comparative advantage undergone a degressive course during 1986 to 2000. However the degree of descendent varies from one kind of agricultural product to another: the corn has almost lost their comparative advantage excluding rice now. Maize owns comparative advantage with a low level. Wheat didn't own any advantage now. As to oil seed, peanut has an obvious comparative advantage with a low DRCC and a high NSP; soybean is losing its comparative advantage or has a very low level; compared with peanut and soybean, rapeseed has no any advantage for its DRCC exceeding 1 and NSP less than 0. Generally speaking, the cash crops (cotton, tobacco, sugarcane) own a higher level of comparative advantage than those of corn. But cotton's comparative advantage is inferior to tobacco and sugarcane. Fruits (apple, orange) and stock products (hog) own the highest level of comparative advantage among all main agricultural products.among all main agricultural products.Besides measuring the comparative advantage level of agricultural products, this paper also make some analysis on the influence of product costs, exchange rate, quality and international market price to agricultural products' comparative advantage. The third part of this paper is from chapter fifth to chapter ninth. In this part, the author tries to find the structure and character of agricultural products' foreign trade by analyzing relative data. On the base of explaining the intension and extension of "integration", making a systemic integration model between agricultural products and their foreign trade, the paper analyses the integration between agricultural products and their foreign trade, evaluates some influence factor on the integration. At final part, the paper brings forward some suggestions on enhancing the integration between agricultural products and their foreign trade, including integrating production structure, integrating the supporting system of agricultural techniqu...
