Since the establishment of Delphi Packard Electric (Guangzhou) Company Limited in 1996, the company experienced a series of changes in Market Orientation, overcame the inherent business insufficient, gained the right of existence through the good strategies of manufacturing systems and its successful implementation. The article detailed the strategies and methods of manufacturing system implemented in Delphi Packard Electric (Guangzhou) Company Limited, which covers the implementation of MRP II, Pull System, Delphi Manufacturing System (DMS), and the Continuous improvement process based on the evaluation of DMS factors. In the second part, the article analyzed the characteristics, successful experience and weaknesses of manufacturing system of Delphi Packard Electric (Guangzhou) Company Limited from the point view of Lean Manufacturing and MRP II based on the theory of operation management. Finally, the article proposed the possible solutions to overcome the current weaknesses and problems which are faced by Delphi Packard Electric (Guangzhou) Company Limited.
