The thesis is composed of two sections: one is the case and the other is case analysis.The case section introduces the background of Delphi Packard Electric(Guangzhou) Co. Ltd., the problem the company faced, and the shortage of the current resolution, at last, it introduces the core conception of the Six Sigma theory.Case analysis section firstly analyses the opportunities and challenges the company faces under the WTO environment, and the necessity of develop Six Sigma as one part of Delphi's culture- Innovation & continuous improvement; then introduces in detail how the Six Sigma was developed in DPGZ and then gives out a detailed example of Six Sigma's application- the FTQ improvement in the "SAIL" conveyor line; at last, evaluates the effect of the Six Sigma's development in DPGZ. The thesis ends with the analysis of the relationship among the Six Sigma management , ISO9000 and Total Quality Management.The thesis emphasizes on the theory of the Six Sigma, the developing procedure and how to use it in normal producti6n.
