MEISHAN funeral and burial custom is an important part in its customary. There is no system study yet, especially its elegy that is considered as a restricted zone. This text tries to do a comprehensive study in five way of its formation by means of field reference, archaeology reference and documentary reference as followed: unique environment, spreading mode, distinguishing feature of elegy, witchery color, cultural connotation and function. The purpose are: 1. definite essence of MEISHAN funeral and burial custom that should be treated properly; 2. Grasp firmly its sequence of idea, furthermore reform old custom to serve spiritual construction.
