Research On The Reform Of Funeral Service Supply In Wujiang District, Suzhou City

With the rapid economic society development and the continuous advancement of the equalization of funeral public services,the people have put forward new requirements for the supply of funeral services in the new era.Funeral services are provided in terms of facility configuration,capacity improvement,and continuous optimization,the improvement of service capabilities,and the continuous optimization of supply.As one of the top 100 regions with comprehensive strength in the country,Wujiang District took the lead in realizing full coverage of funeral and interment policies for residents with registered permanent residence in October 2011.It has laid a good foundation for improving the level of funeral and interment assistance in the region,reducing the burden of the masses in funerals,and gradually realizing the equalized development of funeral public services.From the perspectives of policy supply,service supply,facility supply,service optimization and performance evaluation,this paper studies and analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the supply of funeral services in Wujiang District,and provides a different research perspective for the supply of funeral services.People-benefit funeral and interment policies,innovative performance evaluation methods,and improving the quality of service supply have a good role in promoting.At the same time,in terms of optimizing service supply items,increasing the standard of benefiting people's subsidies,and enriching the forms of benefiting people's services,it also provides a practical optimization path for the supply of funeral services,so that they can match the level of economic and social development,so as to better satisfy the people's expectation and demand for the funeral services.This article adopts literature method,questionnaire method,interview method,etc and uses public products,basic public service equalization,supply theory to conduct in-depth research on the supply status,existing problems and reasons of the funeral services in Wujiang District.The study found that factors such as the creation of people-benefit funeral policy,financial support and guarantee,and the earnest implementation of service organizations have played a positive role in promoting the equalization of funeral public services.There are six problems with inadequate protection of people-benefit funeral policies,low willingness to place green and land-saving funerals,insufficient balance of service facilities,limited improvement in service supply capacity,unstoppable social funeral service charges,and low optimization of service supply projects.Based on this,six major countermeasures for optimizing the supply of funeral services in Wujiang District are proposed,namely,enriching and improving the funeral policy for the benefit of the people,increasing the will of ecological placements from multiple angles,distributing funeral service facilities in a balanced manner,establishing a sound financial security mechanism,regulating and supervising social funeral services,and optimizing innovation performance evaluation management,etc.
