Guangdong Nanfang Communication Appliances Corp.——The Research Of Citynet Project Management

This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is the description of the case, which is the Citynet project developed by Guangdong Nanfang Communication Appliance Corp. I give a brief introduction about Guangdong Nanfang Communication Appliance Corp in the beginning of this part. Then I explain the background and the implementation of the project. Finally, the advantage of the project, current situation and the problems need to be solved are discussed. The second part is the analysis of the case. I adopt the knowledge which learned from this MBA program in the past three years to analyze the case in detail. Firstly, SWOT method is used to analyzed the internal and external environment of this project . Secondly, I estimate the investment risk and the earning of Citynet project. Thirdly, the management of the project is analyzed in three perspectives: organizing, planning and control. The actions should be taken to solve the problems are put forward in the last.
