Study On The Enterprises' Constructing Core Competence

Core competence, as the roots of the enterprises?long-term competitiveness, is arousing the attention from the business field and the theoretical field. However, there is even no unified understanding on the concept of the core competence, though the theory is regarded as one of the forward studies in management science. The operability of core competence theory is hence greatly affected. The writer of this paper expounds in details the concept and features of core competence. Based on the studies by our predecessors, the writer induces the connotations of core competence to enhance the operability of it. Then, the writer probes into the present existing environmental elements that influence the enterprises?constructing core competence. Finally, based on the preceded research, the writer puts forward some suggestion on promoting enterprises?constructing core competence in view of practical situations.
