AbstractThe World Trade Organization is an official international trade organization that enjoys an equal judicial status as the United Nations and other international organizations. Its main objective is to promote the formation of open trade system, to enable its member countries for trade liberalization gradually so as to expand the capacities of market entrance and promote the reasonable competition and protection of their markets.At the time of China entering into WTO, all trades and professions in the country are examining the possible impact that entering WTO may bring about to their respective industries, and based on the actual conditions of their industries to work out necessary recommendations and solutions.Heilongjiang is a big province in term of its forestry. The forest industry of 1-leilongjiang province stands at an important position in the forest development of the whole nation. This article intends to focus its elaboration on the impact that entering WTO may bring about to all aspects of Heilongjiang's forest economy as well as the solutions to cop. Specifically, how Heilongjiang?forest industry could cop with the situation of entering WTO, how to enable its forest industry to merge into the international economy at this turning point, and how to fully utilize this opportunity of entering WTO to minimize the unfavorable consequences?...
