On The Investment Environment In Northwest China

The state has invested large funds in the Development of West in China, in acklition, some great projects have been started, such as the construction of Qinghai-Tibet Rail But in the west of China, which is vast and sparsely populated, the state investment is far from enough. To guarantee the sustaining and rapid development of the economy in Northwest China, it is urgent to mobilize the investment from different sources, including foreign and nongovernmental investment, and the investment from east China To realize this, it is important to construct the investment environmentTaking Northwest China as an example, this dissertation analyzes the advantages and problems in Northwestern investment environment; and compares it with the investment environment in the west of America. Because the west is vast in its area, and poor in its economical development; the quantitative analysis has been done in the economically well-developed cities. In the latter part, some countermeasures have been put forward.isdissertationisdivided into sixparts:The first part is the introduction.The second part analyzes the theoretical basis of investment environment; including the definition, features and classification of investment environment; the significance of the investment environment assessment, the methods of the investment environment assessment, the principles of the urban investment assessmentThe third part is the qualitative analysis of the investment environment. This part firstly introduces the northwest China, and then it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the investment environment In addition, it compares the investment environments in northwest China and in west America, from which some suggestions have been drawn.Part four is the quantitative analysis of the investment environment In this part, twelve sample cities have been categorized into three grades according to the analysis results.Part five talks about the investment environment in northwest China, including the ecological environment construction, the construction of infrastructure, the construction of economical, social and cultural environment; and urban investment environment in northwest China.Part six is the conclusion.
