Discussing The Mode Of Science And Technology Progress Under The Sustainable Development

Science and technology have been the very important means for modernist. People feel convenience with the development of science and technology, at the same time, science and technology have destroyed the environment. The develepment conception of people is the basic view about the relationships between people and the nature, between people and people in the process of observing and altering the nature and the society. Under the different development conception, people have the different mode of science and technology progress. In this paper, the development conception of people in different periods and the characters about different mode of science and technology progress which adapted to the different development conceptions has been analyzed.In 1980s, the conception of sustainable development was advanced; its basic meaning has been extensively accepted. Sustainable development is to satisfy the needs of contemporary era, but not to damage the requirement of later generations. Sustainable development wants to make the society, economics and environment concerted. Under sustainable development, the traditional mode of science and technology progress should be changed. The new characters of the mode of science and technology progresshave been analyzed from five aspects, such as the new conception of science and technology progress; how to choose the direction of science and technology progress; the factors' characters of science and technology progress; the rational structure about science and technology progress and the institutions about science and technology progress.
