Region Competitiveness Theoretical Hypothesis And Empirical Test

With the coming of knowledge economy, man is beginning a new era of global competition. It makes rapid strides in the course of economics globalization. Region is becoming more and more important in the international economic activities. So region competitiveness research is not only pressing but also of practical or immediate significance. First, it makes a summary of the research. Second, reviews the previous theory and gives a definition of region competitiveness to create the model of region competitiveness. Third, it establishes the region competitiveness system of index is essential in positive analysis for region competitiveness. Fourth, this article discusses the application of the AHP method in appraisal of fu xin region competitiveness. At last, the dissertation put forward some principal proposals for development and increase of region competitiveness.
