Internationai shipping policy holds significant position in our national transportation business and national economy,politics and defence. Our country is at present in the critical course of deepening reform and opening-up, establishing market economy system and joinning in World Trade Organization. In order to develop our national transportation, based on studay, analysis and summarise international shipping economic policy, we must keep abreast of current situation and adjust,perfect our shipping economic policy. According to this purpose, this paper studay and evaluate the shipping economic policy of EU deeply, Not only beacause it is the biggest regional alliance organization in the'world at present, but also due to the advance guard, perfect and stardard" of its shipping policy.
