Since the adaptability of existing production management systems is weak in China, the requirements of different types of enterprises are analyzed in this dissertation. After this, techniques about master production scheduling, job shop scheduling and other relative techniques are discussed in details. Then applications samples link to ZT-ERP are laid out.In chapter one, the development of management information system is reviewed, and advanced techniques in the field of production management are summarized. Based on the status quo of study and applications in production management software, point out that the current software are not adaptable for different types of enterprises. The research content of this dissertation is fetched out at last.Chapter two and chapter three analyze the requirements of different types of enterprises, including mass production, middle and small batch production, single production. Based on this, the main function frame of master production scheduling and job shop scheduling is established. Four methods of drawing master production scheduling and four modes of formulating job shop scheduling are proposed, and most of them are discussed in details at aspects such as theory, realization and data store, etc.Not only is it important for master production scheduling and job shop scheduling to support different types of enterprises, but also for other support functions. So chapter four and five point out the problems of these support functions. Then in chapter four, the flexibility of basic data is discussed, stressing on BOM management and lead-time calculation. Chapter five proposes the calculation methods of working procedure plan and capacity balance, and discusses the recognition of bottle-necks.Chapter 6 summarizes the work of this dissertation, and some future works are also sketched out.
