Production Planning Management System For A Variety Of Types Of Production. The Erp Environment

At present, though lots of Production Planning Management softwares were applied in China, few of them were successful because of their weakness of adaptability and lack of flexibility which were shown as the single way of Production Planning, the unstandard plan making and the uncontrollability of carrying out a plan. Therefore, based on the theory of ERP, combining with the advanced Production Planning Management technology and information technology, the designing and developing of Oriented Multiple Production Type - Production Planning System (OMPT-PPS) will be the trend.Due to the reasons above-mentioned, the features of different types of manufacturing industry and its production planning system were shown and some management technologies related to ERP were described in this paper. Then, from planning way, function demand and computing method, the researches on the adaptability of Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Materail Requirement Plannig (MRP) were made. Some important problems on MPS and MRP were also discussed in the paper. After this, based on the theory of ERP, combining with the demand of OMPT-PPS, OMPT-PPS model was presented through UML modeling process, then the system function structures and database structures were given, a kind of coding method of the material was presented. Finally, the executive enviroment of the system was discribed and several critical problems were dicussed in the paper. The result can be shown from the application of OMPT-PPS that the adaptability, flexibility and controllability of Production Planning Management System could be improved and the application scope for the system could be widened. Then, the competitive ability for the enterprise will be improved.
