Mass customization is one new production mode. When the customers' demand becomes more and more diversified and specific,and when the competition based on the time becomes more intense than before,the production mode of mass customization increasingly display the competitive advantage and broad development prospect. The achievement of mass customization must be based on the Internet and on the production planning and control system. Therefore the paper systematically studies and analyses the customer relationship management,rapid reaction,cost,organization pattern,enterprise resource plan,production planning and production activity scheduling through synthetically applying many methods such as quantitative,qualitative,comparative,integration,emulation and case analysis,and also puts forward some new concepts,new ideas and new methods. They are as follows:Firstly,the paper analyses and compares the difference between mass customization and mass production and reveal that the core of mass customization lies in the customer relationship management,rapid reaction and low cost. It expounds the classification of mass customization:service customization,sale customization,assembling customization,manufacturing customization,designing customization and environment customization. It elaborates the features,the theory base and the advantages of mass customization.Secondly,the paper probes on the customer relationship management in the mass customization. It studies the customers' types in the production and the mass customization's demand to the customer relationship management,and establishes the frame of the customer relationship management.Thirdly,the paper probes on the rapid reaction in the production of mass customization. It analyses and studies the factors that influence the rapid reaction and the ways to fulfill the rapid reaction.Fourthly,the paper probes on the cost in the production of mass customization. It defines the implication of the cost and analyses the features,the constitutes and the influencing factors of the cost and studies the ways and strategies to cut down the customization cost of the products in the production of mass customization. The author raises that the customization cost is related with the location,numbers of the customization spots and with the time the customization costs and with the unit time cost of the customization means. Then the paper detailedly studies the customization cost from both qualitative and quantitative angles and shows the mathematics model aiming for the customization batch which is "1" and not "1".Fifthly,the paper probes on the organization pattern and enterprise resource plan in the production of mass customization. It puts forward the concept,structure styles,the conditions that must be satisfied and the features of the virtual ecology modelization business and shows its organization structure graphs. After analyzing the mass customization's demand to enterprise resource plan,the paper establishes the main functions and the data connection graphs of enterprise resource plan and puts forward the concept and advantages of changeable processing technology of the module.Sixthly,the paper probes on the production planning in the production of mass customization and on compiling methods of the production activity scheduling. It analyses and studies the shortcoming of the actual planning compiling ways and puts forward the ways that suit to compiling the production planning and production activity scheduling in the production of mass customization. Then the paper proves the feasibility and advantages of the compiling ways of the production planning and production activity scheduling by the emulation and case analysis.
