| The political work for flight in the PLA Air Force is one of the most distinctive tasks in the PLA's political work. It has developed as the Air Force grows,having its own style and method. It has been playing a unreplacable role in the development of the Air Force and the training of pilots. There are two historic problems for our army's construction in the new time. One is to win the future war with high tech;the other is to hold the characters,essences and styles of the people's army. The political work in the army,including the work for flight,should offer great spiritual impetus for "wining",reliable assurance in political for "holding" . The Air Force takes on a significant mission in sticking up for the nation's sovereignty and security,whose role in the modern war with high tech is getting more and more important. In the future war,the Air Force will stand in the breach and participate the whole course. Contest in the air should be determinant. And pilots are the battle effectiveness of the Air Force. Thus in the new century,political work for flight will have to seek new methods,inheriting glorious tradition,for Air Force's modernization and victory in the future war with high tech.
