Conception Of China Western Cities' Leading-in CIS

With the exacerbation of the world economy globalization and the deep-going exploitation of the western China, Western cities in China is adapting themselves to the situation with an open mind, and facing the challenge of the global market .In the course of entering the international market, a good city identity in an essential pass for the western cities in China.This paper initially explores some issues of the identity of China western cities such as the orientation of the western cities, the principles of the western cities' leading-in CIS, and the propagation of the western cities' identity .by applying the theories of Corporate Indentity System, and considering the superiority of the western cities, such as geography, history, culture, multi-minority nationality .The paper consists of three parts:1.: This part explores the connotation of cities' CIS, the value of the China western cities' identity.2. The key point to the leading-in of west cities' CIS is the orientation of west of west cities' identity. Different city can select different ways of orientation, such as superiority orientation', combination orientation, reversal orientation, difference seeking orientation. Any way, the orientation of China western cities' identity should follow these principles: strategical, synthetical, developmental, regional, etc, and considering such factors as historical culture, economy, population, natural resources etc. In the course of China west cities' leading-in CIS must follow these principles: characterization, innovation, systematization, respect of minority nationalities' traditional culture, sustainable development, cultural content, public participation etc.3 This part discusses of the subject and object of the propagation of cityidentity and how to make the best use of the means of the western cites' identity propagation, mass propagation, organization propagation, interpersonal, interpersonal propagation.In a word, this paper gets some new ideas on China Western Cities identity orientation, principles of leading-in CIS and identity propagation.To study and explore China Western cities' leading-in CIS has some theoretical value on expanding CIS studying space, making cities' CIS expand and enriching the theory of cities' construction and management. It also has some practical value on strengthening the westerners' modern city consciousness, improving Western cities' construction measure, promoting western cities' identity, accelerating the exploitation of western China.
