Study On The Youth Culture Development In Our Country Since The Reform And Opening To The Outside

Since the end of 1970's, we entered a new development stage with bright characteristics of reform and opening. Chinese youth participated in the social reform and development and affected the course and direction deeply. They are not only the inheritor and passer but also the creator of the culture. The youth culture made a new and rapid development since the reform and opening. To study the process of the youth culture development can help us estimate the states of youth and forecast the tendency of their behavior. To analyze the problems arisen in the development course and make an active instruction is the important contents of doing youth work well and resolving youth problems. The paper consists of five parts:Part One: general survey of the youth culture. It expounds the youth culture's concept study of the western scholars and our scholars, the author's definition and explain, and the general structure and function of the youth culture, which provides the theoretical basis for the development of the thesis.Part Two: the development states of the youth culture since the reform and opening. It reviews the origin of the youth culture in China, describes the development skeleton of different period with a clue run through that the youth culture development associated with the reform and opening closely. At the same time it brings forward the problems arisen in the development course.Part Three: analysis on the reasons of the youth culture development since the reform and opening. It expounds the reform and opening as the essential reason, the rise and development of the mass media, the psychological development of the youth and the deepening of the youth culture's theory study.Part Four: the characteristics of the youth culture development since the reform and opening. It summarizes and analyzes five characteristics, which are multiplex, opening,creative, forward-looking, and merging.Part Five: the rational instruction thoughts and measures on the youth culture development. It forwards the macroscopically and strategically rational thoughts to instruct the development of the youth culture, expounds the specific measures which have great realistic value of doing youth work well and resolving youth problems in new period.
