China's International Security Environment In The 21～(st) Century

After the Cold War, peace and development becomes the main task of this time, but the international stage is not stand still, "September 11 Accident" that occurred in the first year of the new century affected China and the whole world as well too much, Facing the complicated and warily international security environment of 21 century, the research and careful study of China's security is in need. The Chinese scholars mainly focus their study and research on China's security environment, especially on the security which related to military in the post-Cold War, consequently, the new study and systematic analysis concern with the international security environment which China may confront in the new century from "Comprehensive Security" is shortly crossed on. Basing on the other earlier experts' view and study, and from the concepts concerning with security, this thesis tries to analyze the main challenges against China's security environment and it characteristics more comprehensively in the new century. Furthermore, this paper emphasizes the analysis on the newly change and development of China's international security environment after "September 11accident", consequently, the strategy we should make in the new century offered. The writer considers that US is the most important factor that affects China's security environment in the 21st century.
