Study On China's Security Environment In East Asia

Came into the new century,international exchanges are increasing between China and the international community,especially the East Asian countries,along with its own growth and changes in the international situation,China's security environment is also facing the corresponding changes.The object of this paper is mainly to study China's security environment in East Asia as well as China's related countermeasures to be taken in the new century.This paper studies China's regional security environment in East Asia from three aspects:First of all,may lead to potential conflicts or war hot spots,such as the Korean Peninsula,the Taiwan issue as well as the South China Sea for a long time;Secondly,the balance of power between the national situation,focusing on the advantages obtained of China in economic and scientific fields in the new century,when compared to Japan, South Korea and ASEAN;Finally,how the countries treat China's policy direction, analyze the foreign policy of major forces in the region as well as related countries' attitude toward China's policy,based on which this paper studies the countries' influence on China's security environment.In the new century,China's security environment in East Asia have a positive side and negative side,how to mobilize the positive factors and transfer the negative factors into positive ones,so as to establish a good security environment for nation-building and national reconstruction,all of which are the focus of China's security strategy in the new era.This article holds that China should improve the regional security environment from two aspects:First,to strengthen its own power,only their own strength is fundamental to maintain a safe environment,where focus on strengthening the need of China's national strategy capacity-building;Second,as the region's largest country,China should promote the establishment of mechanisms for regional security and play a leading role in regional security mechanism establishment and operation,and improve the maintenance of regional security by institutionalized rules and norms.During the new century,China's comprehensive national strength will further increase,the degree of participation in local affairs will continue to deepen,and in the process China will enhance the ability of improving security environment,so as to pave a road for its spring up.
