The history of Guangzhou Huida Company's survival and development in hot melt adhesive industry for the last 4 years was recorded in this case almost in accordance with the facts, as well as its strategies. Although the competition especially with multinational companies was hot, Huida grew up quickly through cultivating core competitive advantage in low cost, fast response and marketing. However, the hard problems in Huida such as deficiency of capital and lack of further resource in product development were pushing it to make new decisions for continuous growth.In the second part, the case was analyzed in the characteristics of life recycle of hot melt adhesive industry, the attraction level of the industry, the factors to Huida's success, competitive strength of Huida and its rivals, Huida's financial situation, and Huida's problems. At the end, by using SWOT analysis tool, the writer brought about the strategies for Huida's future success.
