The Development Strategy Of TongDa Logistics Co.in The Future And Realization Of The Strategy

The investigation carried by Warehousing Association China in 2000 reveals that 48 percent of the enterprises are in pursuit of new logistics service providers. While most of state-owned logistics companies are having a hard time at present,some private logistics companies have won much appraisal and much profit as well from their clients by offering the end to end logistics service which covers the distribution of products from factories to retailers and re-packing of products. What are the reasons for them to succeed?From Jan. to May in 2000,1 begun my internship as an assistant executive in Transportation Division of Tongda Logistics Co. In this thesis,I would like to analyses not only the reason for Tongda success but also the opportunity and the threaten for Tongda development in the future. Based on that,I present the development strategy and option on the realization of the strategy.
