Analyzing The Ability Of The Electric Construction Companies On Construction Claiming

With the developing and perfecting of the socialistic market economy system in China and being promoted and influenced after entering World Trade Organization,the electric construction market in China will become more and more legal and standard. The electric project will also be operated according to the international rules and traditions. At the same time,the investors and the contractors abroad want to come in while the investors and the contractors inland want to go out. The claim for compensation of construction will be the usual part of the project management and it is also a major means for the contractors to maintain the interest and to achieve the prof i Je. As a resul t,the electric construction companies must intensi fy the management and improve the ability,put more emphasis on the research and the management of the project contracts and especially on the claim for compensation to meet the need of the international market.This article introduces the definition, reasons, classification,calculating means and the general procedure of the claim for compensation in construction. It analyzes the ability of the electric construction companies and the environment of the claim for compensation in construction. It explains the innovation in the history, inner condition for successfulclaim, treating means and the cultural background, laws and contract conditions of the claim in construction. It also gives out the countermeasure for the electric construction companies to improve the ability on construction claiming.In this article it is concluded that the factors, which confine the claim for compensation, include: the low management level of the electric construction companies, the inadequate claiming ability of the companies, the nonstandard market and the unfit legal system etc. None but the government, the society and the companies effort together to intensify the legal system construction, standard the market rules, improve the comprehensive ability, can we build a good construction reclaiming circumstance and can the companies improve the reclaiming ability effectively.
