China's entry to WTO makes an inevitably huge impact on China Foreign Trade. Meanwhile, it brings chances and challenges also. State-run professional foreign trade enterprises was a main force of China Foreign Trade long before. But now, it seems to face more challenges than chances. Through discussing the development history, the changes of position and function of state-run professional foreign trade enterprises in present Foreign Trade, this thesis is trying to explain the way of state-run professional foreign trade enterprises to how to reconsider and resolve its inborn problems and how to use all kinds of supplementary means, to control the chances, to move out the present dilemma and win more living space.
