This paper discusses the role brokers play in China's socialist market economy, explores the theoretic base on which brokers exist and develop, analyzes the important factors that influence broker's existence and development, and also discusses the current situation and problems facing brokers in China. In the end, puts forward some advices and measures regarding how to further develop China's broker industry.This paper is divided into seven chapters. The first Chapter is about the role brokers play in our socialist market economy. The second Chapter gives a general introduction to the concepts, nature broker. In the third chapter, the author explains the broker behaviors by applying the theory about relevant economic theories (asymmetric information, transaction cost, etc.). The author also put forward the Broker Value theory. The forth chapter mainly put forward the factors that influence the existence and development if brokers. The fifth chapter analyses the current situation and exiting problems that are facing brokers in China. The sixth chapter analyzes the current problem facing brokers in China. The last chapter is mainly about the advices and measures regarding how to further development of China's broker market.
